The Palazzo del Popolo is
one the oldest public buildings in Italy. It is an example of Italian
Gothic. It had been enlarged and modified during the years. In the last
modification the eaves were substituted with merlons. The fa?ade
has two rows of windows, where the central mullioned window with three
lights was added on Vittorio Emanuele III 's memorial tablet, during the
19th century. A wooden image of Madonna was kept in a closed niche.
