Fonte Cesia

This fountain is called also della Rua ( from Ruga, because it is situated along Via Ruga, which is the most important street of the town). In 1606 Bishop Angelo Cesi ordered to build it to gather the water coming down the Rocca through a tunnel.
In the central part of the fountain one can admire the coat of arms, belonging to the Cesi family, and the town insignia.
