In 1320 the Augustinians built a new
church where an older one dedicated to Saint Prassede lay. They left the
fa?ade with white and red stones and the east side of the cloister
with six columns made with the same stone. On the right there is the Augustinian
monastery where Martin Luter stayed for a while on the way to Rome. The
church was embellished by several works of 1600 and 1700.
