Church of S. Nicol? De Criptis

It was built in 1093 where a Roman amphitheatre took place. The name de criptis refers to the Roman caves which still remained at those times. In the beginning of 1600 , important restoration work involved the church and the archaeological area nearby. The font and the three doors still remain of the original church. Several frescoes are in town's collection, others were destroyed after the Second World War.
